Menu week 26 June – 2 July 2017

Good morning 😉

Here’s my last menu for the week, then I’m up-to-date again.

It was a pretty straight forward week for us except for Saturday. We had some errands to run and you know when you get those days when you don’t feel like cooking at all, well it was just such a day. So we went out for breakfast before we got started, after all the errands was done I just wanted to go home and get of my feet for a bit. Seeing as no one wanted to cook we got some biltong and droëwors at the butchery and had a bit for lunch and some for dinner with a mashed up avo. We overdid the protein a bit for the day but so be it.

Monday:

  • Breakfast (08h40) – Zucchini quiche with butter and bacon.
  • Lunch – Skipped.
  • Dinner (17h20) – Biltong, mushroom & cauliflower casserole.

Tuesday:

  • Breakfast – Skipped.
  • Lunch (12h40) – Scrambled eggs, bacon, avo, fried mushroom & tomato & zucchini.
  • Dinner (17h25) – Chicken curry with sweet potato on cabbage rice.

Wednesday:

  • Breakfast (10h00) – Scrambled eggs, bacon, avo, fried zucchini & mushrooms & brinjals mix.
  • Lunch – Skipped.
  • Dinner (17h20) – Biltong & mushroom soup.

Thursday:

  • Breakfast (08h20) – Fried mix cabbage & bacon bits topped with eggs.
  • Lunch (13h30) – Coconut bread-in-a-mug with butter, cheese, avo.
  • Dinner (17h20) – Pork chop, creamed spinach, gem squash with butter.

Friday:

  • Breakfast (09h20) – Ham & cheese omelette and creamed spinach.
  • Lunch – Skipped.
  • Dinner (19h00) – Kooletti (fried cabbage) Bolognaise.

Saturday:

  • Breakfast (09h20) – Breakfast out (Quiche, chicken livers, mince and half a small bowl of fruit salad)
  • Lunch – Droëwors.
  • Dinner (17h00) – Biltong & avo.

Sunday:

  • Breakfast (09h30) – Zucchini roll filled with ham & mozzarella cheese topped with chilli mayo.
  • Lunch – Skipped.
  • Dinner (17h15) – Roast chicken, pumpkin, cauliflower mash and buttery green beans.Week 26 June - 2 July 2017
